In 9 days time, we will leave for Goa.
In 10 days time, we will arrive in Goa.
I am excited. In 10 days time, I will see the people who looked after me for so long, who became my family, my good friends, and etched a place into my heart that will remain.
I am apprehensive. I'm not going on my own this time, but leading a group of 10 wonderful young people. I love the people we serve in Goa as though they are my own family. I want to share some of that with the team, that they might grasp God's heart for BLC and Goa.
I am hopeful. Though I have been around when a mission has happened in Goa, I was working from the other side, serving the team in order to help Martin & Beena. I am hopeful that as I lead the young people we will grow as a team, who are able to serve wholeheartedly, and that I am able to lead wholeheartedly.
Goa holds memories from my life that are rich in colour and life, love and laughter. I am looking forward to adding some more memories to the mix!
Every blessing from a very excited Soph x
