Day 2 of training weekend!

Well it's been a long day for the summer missions team, meeting in the Christ Church youth room at 8:15 to enjoy spending time in community, eating breakfast together and then worshipping together (a little dose of mission life). True challenge faced us when it came time to clean up David's flat (it was delightfully messy and a charming mess) but all is possible through Christ who strengthens us and we pulled through and worked together to serve as a team! After an amazing talk from the wonderful guest speaker (Miss Ashley Benson) who taught us the 'E's of mission (Evangelise, Endure and End well) the talk was made extra special by Ashleys awesome use of props (I dont think any of us will forget Ashley pulling the head off that plastic doll in a hurry) we enjoyed worship together and curry for dinner (better get used to that, Anna Harwood!) We ended the night working on our missions vision together which will shape our own goals and give us a clearer picture of what God wants us to do through him in India.
